The next issue of the Art of Watercolour magazine, published early September 2017, includes a feature on women artists which will address issues such as the status of women artists today, the difficulty of balancing family and artistic lives, etc. I am included amongst a dozen women artists.
As one of the invited ‘best watercolour artists from all over the world’ I shall be exhibiting in this exhibition between 1-28 February 2018 in St Petersburg, Russia. Last years exhibition was the first and was attended by over 15,000 visitors.
My work will be presented, by Nicholas Bowlby, at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, London from 19-22 October 2017.
I shall be exhibiting my work, along with other members of the Sussex Watercolour Society, between 12-24 September 2017 at the Oxmarket Centre of Arts in Chichester, West Sussex. Saturday 16 September will be a ‘Meet the Artists’ day and I shall be there in the afternoon.
There are 54 members of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) and at the annual exhibition members are allowed to exhibit 6 works. I was commissioned to write an article for ‘The Art of Watercolour’ magazine. The article is entitled ‘My Favourite Painting’. You can see it in issue number 25 of the magazine.
As patron of the Adur Art Collective I shall be exhibiting in their first first ever Summer Exhibition 3rd to 18th June at the Skyway Gallery in Shoreham by Sea.
I will also have work in this RI exhibition at the Horsham Museum & Gallery from 13 May to 15 July 2017.
My work will once more be on display at the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI). The exhibition runs from 2-22 April 2017.
