The Orange Street Gallery was a perfect space to show the 52 watercolours and John Gilboy, the gallery owner, had choreographed an exciting show with a fine comprehensive brochure to back it up.
Here is an extract from the Leicester Mercury written by their art critic, Leslie Goodwin:
"Her pictures are not large in the main, but they are fearless, high-octane productions, bursting out of their frames, punching way above their weight.
They seem effortless and spontaneous, but nothing could be further from the truth, for her paintings are beautifully crafted and take time to produce."
